Typographical
Errors
We make every
effort to correctly describe and price each item. The information on this
site is deemed reliable but not guaranteed. Please verify all information
if important. In the event that a product is listed at an incorrect
price due to a typographical error, we shall have the right to refuse or
cancel any orders placed for any product listed at the incorrect price,
whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged.
If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your
order is cancelled, we shall immediately issue a credit to your credit
card account in the amount of the incorrect price.

Problem
Resolution
If you have
a problem that is related to your order, it will be dealt with quickly
and courteously. We will work with you and arrive at the proper course
of action to remedy your problem. In other words, we'll fix it or tell
you how to.

Prices
All prices
are in CAN $ and are subject to change without prior notice.
7.5 % PST,
as applicable, will be added to all orders shipped within British Columbia
only.
We do NOT
have to collect Provincial Sales Tax on orders shipped outside of British
Columbia.
There are
no Canadian Federal or Provincial Sales Taxes payable on U.S. or International
orders.
Orders shipped
outside of Canada may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied
once the shipment reaches your country. All orders are shipped CIF (cost,
insurance, freight) Salt Spring Island, BC, Canada. Any additional charges
must be borne by the purchaser. We have no control over these charges.
Customs policies vary widely from country to country. Postal shipments
to the U.S. are generally not affected as all goods are manufactured in
Canada.
When ordering
from Organic Planet Soap.ca, you are considered the importer of
record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in
which you are receiving the goods. Shipping & handling fees depend
on the shipment weight and destination and are automatically calculated
as you place your items into the shopping cart. When you click on the "BUY
IT" button, a new screen will open showing your basket contents and a drop-down
field with Canadian and U.S. ship-to locations. Select the applicable Canadian
Province or USA Shipping, click on "RECALCULATE", and your shipping &
handling fees will be displayed.
No minimum
order. Free delivery on Salt Spring Island with a minimum $ 25.00 order.

Ordering
Information
The use of
this site is restricted to persons of legal age or capacity. Only customers
who have attained legal adulthood in the jurisdiction in which they are
making the purchase are eligible to make purchase orders. For your
convenience, you may place your order online via our SSL
secure online shopping cart. We also accept telephone
orders. Usually within 24 hours (except on weekends and holidays)
of receiving your order we will email an order confirmation, listing each
item ordered, unit prices, and the total $ amount of your order. Any order
subsequently cancelled and/or refused delivery by you for whatever reason
is subject to a restocking fee and shipping charges as specified below
under Returns & Exchanges.
Your receipt
of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our
acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer
to sell. Your submission of an order to us shall be deemed to constitute
an offer to purchase, which shall remain open for a reasonable time (not
to exceed 30 days) unless we agree otherwise, and will be deemed to be
accepted by us only upon shipment of the product(s). We reserve the right
at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order
for any reason and, without prior notice to you, to supply less than the
quantity you ordered of any item. We may require additional verification
or information before accepting any order, as established by our credit
and fraud avoidance department.

Shipping
& Handling Policy
All orders
received will be processed as soon as possible and shipped from our warehouse
on Salt Spring Island, BC, Canada. Orders normally leave the warehouse
within 24 to 48 hours. Unless otherwise specified, all orders are shipped
via Canada Post Expedited. Due to minimum size restrictions with Commercial
Expedited Service, small U.S. and international orders may ship via Canada
Post Airmail instead. The tracking number will be emailed to you automatically
once your order has shipped. Canada Post Xpresspost is available
at an extra charge. Please contact us for shipping
rates. All shipments are subject to stock availability.

Orders
Items temporarily
out of stock will be placed on backorder and shipped as soon as they become
available. We will, however, notify you of any significant delays.

Damage
Claims
All shipments
will be properly insured for the full replacement value of the goods. The
responsibility for safe delivery rests with the carrier after the order
has been accepted from us for shipment. Please follow these steps when
receiving your shipment:
1. For your protection, please open all boxes and check the contents
immediately in the presence of the delivery person and report any discrepancies
or damages (i.e. crushed box or contents,
missing parts) at that time by filing a damage report. It is the customer's
responsibility to carefully inspect the goods before signing for them
and initiate a claim with Canada Post / US Mail if a problem exists. We
cannot file a damage claim on your behalf. Please inspect your shipment
before
signing for it. When signing for receipt of goods, please add the phrase
"not for hidden damage" to the shipping receipt.
2. Let us know about the problem so we can work with you and assist with
whatever action needs to be taken.
3. Please note that, after the shipment has been received and signed
for by you, it is virtually impossible to initiate a damage claim. We will
work with you as much as we can but, since there is no proof where and
when the damage occured, all damages discovered at a later date are ultimately
your responsibility.
